C’est l’effervescence en Provence ! La foire aux tilleuls va commencer !

Provence is bubbling! The linden fair is going to start!

J’adore admirer les délicates feuilles de l’olivier, vert foncé en dessous et argentées au dessus !

I love admiring the tender leaves of the olive tree, dark green underneath and silver on the top!

L’adjectif de couleur s’accorde en genre et en nombre lorsque la couleur est exprimée par un seul adjectif qui désigne uniquement une couleur et non une chose à l’origine de la couleur. comme une pierre, un fruit ou une fleur.

Si la couleur est exprimée par deux adjectifs, aucun des deux adjectifs ne s’accorde.

Les marchés provençaux regorgent de délicieux produits frais, comme la tapenade, les bottes de lavande, les fruits mûris au soleil et les nougats.

Provencal markets abound with fresh produce, like tapenade, lavender bunches, sun-ripened fruits and nougat.

Saviez-vous qu’en Roussillon jusqu’à dix-sept nuances d’ocre étaient utilisées pour les façades des maisons ?

Did you know that in Roussillon up to 17 shades of ochre are used for the facades of the houses?
